Hi girls! Topic on request, today we will talk about wavy hair!
They are the perfect type of hair, especially if they are frizz-free. They look good on every type of face and cut, launched by Victoria's Secret, beachwaves are always trendy, but not all of us are lucky enough to be able to have them natural.
Speaking of which, we're here to give you several tips if you really can't recreate them at home!
- HAIRDRYER AND BRUSH
We recommend a more expert hand for this type of method. You need a hair dryer with a thin nozzle and a round brush. You need to brush your hair by rolling it up on the straightener, passing the hair dryer closely over the part that is pulled by the brushing. Much easier to do it yourself if you have short hair, if instead you are not very skilled with these two tools and you have long hair, we advise you to move on to the next methods or to rely on your trusted hairdresser.
- PLOPPING
It's not a dirty word! It is a very natural way, not recommended in winter (to avoid colds!).
The method involves drying the hair naturally, placing a cloth, a microfibre towel, a t-shirt on the bed (we recommend long sleeves to facilitate the creation of the knot) and to let the hair fall all over the central part of the shirt, approaching with the head towards the shirt. Then go and fix the cloth you used as a turban and wait until it is completely dry. It's convenient if you wash your hair late at night, you can even go to sleep with your turban on!
Not recommended if you have very frizzy or very long hair!
- BRAID
Another natural method consists in braiding damp hair and leaving it in place until it is completely dry. Recommended if you have long hair, but not recommended in winter and above all if you want a more natural effect.
- PLATE
You can opt for the straightener, our Infrared is perfect for the purpose, having rounded edges and thus allowing the creation of perfect wavy hair. We have several tutorials online that perfectly explain how to create perfect waves in one swipe. Recommended if you have frizzy and unmanageable hair!
Have you already tried any of these methods?
